Hello, I am quite new here, but enjoy everyone, it is such fun. I am Canadian have been quilting since 1982 Quilting course (12 - 4hr classes) it was all hand piecing, sewing, and hand quilting, did mostly baby - crib quilts and cushions then took a break in 1995 (as working as a welder and raising Quarter Horses, took up my time) Then in 2003 took a private quilting class and learned rotary cutting and some new methods, and made a Rail Fence quilt and gifted it to my daughter for Christmas of 2003. My husband started to sew and do quilt tops in 2006 and now we enjoy together. We only quilt in the ditch on machine and I venture occasionally with free motion. I took another break in 2009 as one of our LQS closed and my passion failed me, I retired in Aug. 2012 and got inspired June 2013 - husband wanted to make my daughter a table topper for her Birthday, and so I went through the stash and found some 25+ UFOs, in various stages. Managed to get 14 projects completed by Dec 31, 2013. And now have #12 (2008 BoM) in process. One pic is UFO-2005 and the Black/White is 2006, both are BoM quilts, and happy to present these to My Husbands sister and her daughter.
