Hello. I gather most of you have heard about the recent discussions by the Board of Directors regarding peerage orders. I have the following report from Edward, the King of the East: The BoD is planning to follow up on this issue as quick as they can. Given their protocols, this means that they will have an emergency telecon on Feb 2 so that they can have a written proposal to post for public comment as of Feb 14 to support a vote at their Apr 18th meeting. (Proposals must be posted for 60 days for public comment prior to a vote.) IF we want to influence the proposal that they vote on at their Apr 18th meeting, then we need to provide input before they talk on Feb 2nd. The original Census didnt seem to invite commentary from Lochac, but comments now may be useful. We had hoped to construct a poll for Lochac, but there isnt really enough time to provide data for the emergency meeting.
