Hello! I have a 5 month old Great Dane pup and she is my first.. we want to spay her before her first heat and our vet suggested tacking her stomach simultaneously to avoid two surgeries. He says that is okay to tack her stomach at a young age and that he had done dozens of tackings on pups in the past. I have heard from others to wait until she is full grown, 18 months or so because as she grows the tack will detach from the rob. Not really sure what to think, can anyone provide any insight?
