Hello! I suppose I will do this introduction thing. Im Andrea, and I am from the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. If I go to Lawrence (Im still unsure although Lawrence is a top choice), I plan on doing the B.A. double degree program in music (vocal) and something else. That something else is TBA, but Im interested in history, teaching, languages, and religions/cultures. One of my dreams is to immerse myself in another countrys language and culture (I mean, how cool is that?? teehee nerd moment) and hopefully Ill get to do that through study abroad. I enjoy quite a bit of music genres and artists, but some of my faves right now are Simon and Garfunkel, musical theater, Bon Iver, Thomas Newman (composer), Regina Spektor, Atmosphere, LCD Soundsystem and Alexi Murdoch. Some movies I like are Mamma Mia!, Legally Blonde, Disney Movies, Perks of Being a Wallflower (love the book too), and when Im feeling analytical, Black Swan and American Beauty. Oh and I love Hayao Miyazaki movies! That man is a flippin genius. Phewww that was a lot of writing. Anyway, you guys all sound like really interesting and dynamic people, and Im excited to meet you if I go to Lawrence this fall!
