Hello, I wanted to give everyone an update of whats going on with our film A DOG NAMED GUCCI. First off, you know were having our world premiere at the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival in Missoula, Montana on February 14th. I was fortunate to be at this festival last year and it’s a wonderful place to premiere the film. The closing credits song, which I have been hinting at for months, is still not yet complete. So while it isn’t ready for the premiere, we will have it in for future screenings. And believe me, when you hear the names of the singers involved, you will understand how it was worth the wait. Once the song is in (and the sound mix complete) we will master the film and begin delivering the KickStarter reward DVDs. Were expecting to begin shipping them out in early summer. In the meantime we hope to begin setting up screenings around the country, beginning of course in Alabama. Watch this page for further information. However...you can help! If you run an independent theatre and would like to set up a screening, send us a private message. If you run a shelter or humane agency and want to set up a screening, send us a private message. If you are part of an animal advocacy group and want to set up a screening, send us a private message. If you are part of a university with an animal law division and would like to set up a screening, send us a private message. We want to get this film out to everyone and the screening possibilities are many. But just as the making of the film was a grassroots effort, so will be the distribution.
