Hello! Im Summer, one of the 12 dogs of Christmas at OAHS! Arent I so cute? I have big brown eyes that will melt anyones heart. Im about 5 years old and very smart. The volunteers have been teaching me a lot of cues (thats the new fancy word for commands) - like sit, stay...stuff like that. I can get very excited when I meet people so they would like to see me in a home with older, respectful children that wont accidentally get knocked over by my exuberance. They think Ill be more relaxed outside of a shelter environment though so please give me a chance to show you what a nice girl I am. I do like to play with other dogs but I like to REALLY play with them and well, I might just be too much some dogs. But maybe if your dog is a high-energy type then wed get along just fine. Please stop down to OAHS soon and meet me. Ill be your much-needed dose of Summer this winter! OAHS is open from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. tomorrow and 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday.
