Hello , In the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ , I hope all is well with you. Rice ansd Beans Ministries ( RABMIN) is now in our 6th year of ministry. In a short period of time we have grown to where we are able to minister to many families, children , youth and churches.There so many blessings. In our first year of ministry we were involved in construction and vbs. We started the food and prayer ministry in 2008. In that year we visited and prayed with 275 families. This year in 2013 , we visited and prayed with 8050 families. We were blessed , since the start , to have visited and prayed with oover 33500 families. In December of this year we will be trying to help ten thousand families with food and if the funds are available to help with some Christmas gifts. I pray that you and or your church will be involved in this time of giving. For most of us it is a time of giving and sharing , but for many it is a time of need and food. In the areas where we are serving the children are out of school from December 15th to Febuary 15th and most of the children there only meals they get are at school. If we can help them with a week or two of food , this can help stability in the family. This will help us to share the love of God and for the family to know tha this love is long lasting. Let us know if you or your church can help us. This year of 2013 so far we have served our Lord by helping the children and the schools. We have had programs with over 40000 children this year. I want to thank all that have help us in any way with the VBS programs.We will be starting again in December with activities in the soccer fields and neighborhoods. We will start a new building project this November in Palmares , Alajuela . We will build them a multi use building to where they can have a dining facilty and can use it as a sanctuary as we build them a new sanctuary in 2014. We also will be building classrooms for the children to have Sunday school. We have grown now to hosting 34 groups this last 2 years and we feel it is time to buy and build our own facilities for room and board for our groups. We have located the facility to buy , but land is very expensive in Costa Rica. The place we have found will cost $300,000.00 . It has a 4 bed room house and a building that we can add on to faciliate our kitchen and dinning room and worship space. We will need to build the dorm rooms to house the teams. Also we can have space to have outreach for the local community. To have GED type programs, programs to help the single and under resourced families . I will be sending more information on the property soon , before we finalize the deal we are waiting on the land use certificate. We fell that all is well but I prefer to have it in hand.
