Hello, Ive just found your website, full of people reminiscing about - as the name suggests - Anglesey gems. I managed to record a gem on video last year, I dont know if you have video on your website but if you do, it was Beating the Bounds, which is a very unusual walk that takes place once every 7 years to assert the boundaries of the Royal Borough of Beaumaris. The event is led by the Mayor, who forms the central theme of my video. Its on You Tube as 3 parts, and if your readers do watch, they will come across a number of unusual tasks or ceremonies along the walk, ranging from climbing over a roof, crowning the oldest lady, to getting rather wet near Llangoed.
