Hello Kitchi Families! Sadly, Session 2 has come to an end!!! The past two weeks have been a whirlwind of fun as campers learned new skills, made new friends, explored nature on outtrip and experienced the beauty of Beausoleil Island and Georgian Bay. Last night we had a Banquet where we supped on a delicious dinner of chicken parmesan and baked potatoes and enjoyed some delicious dessert! Everyone was full to the brim and contented as we spent our post-meal meeting highlighting the achievement of campers and leadership this session. Our Skills Awards recognized campers who made special contributions to Session 2 through dedication, excellence and improvement in Skills. Our Value Awards recognized those who went above and beyond in demonstrating and embodying the YMCA Core Values. Congratulations to all and thank you for your contributions! After our Banquet and Award Ceremony, we joined together in song and story-telling for the Closing Campfire, our last campfire together as Session 2 campers. Energy was high and spirits were bright as we sang classic camp songs, and many tears were shed as we reminisced and reflected on our weeks together. Thank you to all campers, Leadership Participants, staff and volunteers for making Session 2 a smashing success!
