Hello Lincoln Little Leaguers, Well the first week has brought a lot of canceled games. Hopefully we can get some baseball in this weekend! This is just a friendly reminder about opening day. Still on schedule for March 15 at McBean Majors field. You will need to plan on having your teams at the field by 9:30 that morning. They should at least have their team shirt and hat on. They can be in full uniform if you like, but at least shirts and hats. Have your team banners ready! The teams will be parading onto the field, together as a team. After everyone is on the field the raffle will take place. We will then have bounce houses, bar-b-q, some live music (hopefully...I was told that the lead singer for the band was a little under the weather so hopefully he will make a speedy recovery :-), and some majors baseball games. Should be a lot of fun, and the long term weather forecast is looking great! I will send another email next week with some more details about how we want your teams to assemble and line up outside the field prior to the parade of players.
