Hello MGSD Families, Due to the forecasted freezing rain throughout tonight, Mooresville Graded School District will operate on a two-hour delay tomorrow, Wednesday morning (January 14). Buses will run on a two-hour delay schedule as well. Please use extreme caution when coming to school. Maintenance and custodial staff should report to work as close to their regularly scheduled times as possible to prepare schools for the delayed opening. Schools will dismiss at their regularly scheduled times in the afternoon. If you have a high school student, the English 10 EOC and make-up Final Exams will be given beginning at 9:30am. Only students who are taking the English 10 EOC or making up a missed exam, as well as students who are aiming for perfect attendance need to report to MHS by 9:30am tomorrow morning. The testing session will last until approximately 1:30pm. MHS will serve breakfast before 9:30am and lunch after testing in the Main Cafeteria. We will run the buses at the normal dismissal time of 2:15pm. If you have any questions, please call the high school at 704.658.2580.
