Hello Mason Citians, want to make you aware of a development so you remember this during next Parks and Rec Board elections. 3 members of this board are trying to do away with the BBQ Bash next summer (a very popular MC event). They are citing pollution with charcoal as the reason, which is silly. Knowing whos involved with this, its not hard to see through that to the real reason: these 3 have formed a coalition to get back at the Globe Gazette (sponsor of the BBQ Bash) or some other entity. Frustrates me that they are using their power on this board for personal motives. We just need to keep this behavior in check rather than being complacent so we can keep this town going in a positive direction. Dont want to be negative, and dont want this to be mistaken as a rant--I simply want to make people aware so we dont forget when the next election comes around.
