The target participants are youths with ID (any gender, ages 12-35 years old) who would like to become Special Olympics athletes and who can bring along a dancing partner, a person without ID (any gender, at least 12 years old) who is willing to become a Special Olympics volunteer. The partner can be a parent, a sibling, a relative, a classmate, a teacher, a caregiver, a friend, a neighbor, etc., who are not registered members of Special Olympics. This is a free event so there are no entrance or joining fees. There will be registration at the start of the event followed by an orientation about Special Olympics then the fun dance-exercise program to be led by a dance specialist. Participants are advised to come in comfortable dance/exercise clothes and rubber shoes.
