Hello! My Brother Sean Holley rents an apartment at Emory which had recently bought the complex once known at Casa Del Sol. He moved in August 1, 2013 and notice his dining room had a really bad roof leak that had some patch work done on the inside but nothing done on the outside. We have written letters to the management company in December of 2013 as well as taken letters to the leasing office and spoken verbally to the manager there and still nothing has been done. There is a waterfall coming out of his roof at this point (please see attached video). Emory took over the property in June 2014 and still has not done anything to fix this serious issue. Im sure there is mold and who knows what else growing in his celling. I was finally able to get someone on the phone in the leasing office yesterday after over a week of trying and no one picks up. I spoke with Tiffany who was aware of the issue and tells me that she wont have someone out till the end of the week for an estimate. She said when they finally get someone out to fix the roof she didnt know how long it would take them to get to my brothers apartment because all the roofs need to be repaired. At what point is enough enough? I would love to cut them some slack as they are the new owners but this waterfall needs to be repaired NOW not next week not next month but NOW. One more rain and he will have a sunroof in his dining room. These apartments should be condemned until the mold issues can be assessed. Please advise as where I go from here.
