Hello My Lovelies! Whoever said its better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all should be throttled. Clearly many things are better in theory. Pride and humility are equally a gift and a curse that can be used against us by others as well as ourselves. Yes, sometimes, WE form the weapon against us! In matters of the heart, we must be mindful of our reactions as opposed to our responses. The thing that may make us react emotionally when we would do better to respond rationally-(or not at all), is the thing that we built our foundation on in the first place isnt it? Love, loyalty, honesty, trust? Nothing stings more than the realization that someone we absolutely and completely love/loved/needed/wanted and had is actually full of doggy doo and we may very well have fallen for the banana in the tailpipe-repeatedly. Perhaps some of us are destined to love and lose, some of us will get it right and hold tight to it, while others will remain on limbo-not moving successfully in any direction. Carry on my lovelies, there is no cure for selfish, but there is always room for hope.❤
