Hello; My name is Ann Cox , and I am reaching out to you for help. I have run a rescue for the past 20 years, but due to severe physical and medical issues, I am closing down my rescue, and trying to transfer as many pets as possible to other reputable groups. I am asking for your help with Tater and his brother Tommy. I rescued them, their mom and siblings when the puppies were 3 weeks old. All have been adopted but Tater and Tommy. (Mom appears to be a Lab/Border collie mix, I am guessing Dad was a Great Pyr) They are about 14 months old. Tater weighs about 80-85 lbs, and Tommy weighs about 80 lbs. They are timid with people, so they will need help with socialization. Both get along well with other dogs, but can be dominant. They are neutered (done when they were 3 months old), fully vetted and current on all vaccinations. Tater and Tommy are both sweet dogs, and have a lot of potential, they just need someone who can give them the extra time, attention and guidance that I am no longer able to offer. Because of my condition, Tater is now having to live in a 12x12 pen, and Tommy in a 10X10 pen. That is not fair to a young active dog, so the need to transfer them is urgent. I will be willing to drive or transport Tater and Tommy to their new placement. I have attached pictures that were taken in July. Tommy is the black one, and Tater is the white one.
