Hello. My name is Greg Weisman, and I’m a writer of cartoons, comics and novels. (Also a producer, story editor, voice director and occasional voice actor.) I’m probably best known as the creator and one of the producers of Gargoyles. I also wrote for and produced Max Steel, W.I.T.C.H., The Spectacular Spider-Man, Young Justice and Star Wars Rebels. Other animated projects I’ve worked on include Darkwing Duck, Disney’s Adventures of the Gummi Bears, TaleSpin, Bonkers, Raw Toonage, Duck Tales the Movie, Aladdin the Series, Men In Black, Disneys Hercules, Big Guy & Rusty the Boy Robot, Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, The Mummy, Kim Possible, The Batman, Alien Racers, Ben Ten, Bionicle: Mask of Light, Legion of Super Heroes, Batman: The Brave and the Bold, Transformers RescueBots, Kaijudo, Octonauts, Beware the Batman, Transformers Prime, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Roughnecks: Starship Trooper Chronicles, Atlantis: Milo’s Return, 3x3 Eyes and DC Showcase: Green Arrow, among many others. My comic book work includes Captain Atom, The Amazing Spider-Man, Gargoyles, Gargoyles: Bad Guys, Young Justice and more. More recently, I’ve written the first two novels in a nine book series: Rain of the Ghosts (which came out in December 2013) and Spirits of Ash and Foam (July 2014). I’m very proud of both and hope to publish more. In fact, I’ve already begun researching the third book in the series, Masque of Bones. As many of you know, I’m not all that comfortable with technology. I bought the television in my bedroom in 1985. I’ve been answering questions about Gargoyles, Young Justice, the industry and life at askgregweisman since 1996. But I didn’t get a cellphone until 2009. Didn’t get a smartphone until 2012. Was basically coerced onto Twitter in 2013 – and maintain a love/hate relationship with the thing to this day. Facebook truly seemed beyond me, but it’s become clear I’ve got to change with the times… at least a little. So I’ve agreed to allow my dear friend Jennifer L. Anderson to create this Official Greg Weisman Fan Facebook page. Not sure what exactly we’ll do with it yet. But my tweets and my ramblings at ASK GREG will all get reposted here, at minimum.
