Hello. My name is John Braeger. I am a UOPX Certified Advanced Facilitator and independent contractor specializing in internal controls, risk management, project management and organizational development. My current engagements involve information security and regulatory compliance. Past engagements focused on IT internal control audits (e.g. Sarbanes-Oxley, Gramm-Leach-Bliley, retail inventory), and Design Controls coordination for Type II medical devices (U.S. Food and Drug Administration). Throughout the last 30 years, I had the great fortune to work in various professional engagements ranging from small start-up companies to multi-billion dollar corporations in the financial services, manufacturing, distribution and aviation industries. Projects involved 4 to 50 employees/contractors with budgets ranging from $50,000 to $2.5 million. I have spoken at national conferences for the American Community Bankers and the Financial Management Society concerning Internet technology and asset/liability management. Additionally, I have taught marginal cost pricing at Louisiana State University’s summer graduate banking program and currently teach project management, electronic business and Business Systems at University of Phoenix Online. Published works include local business profiles, financial marketing, operations and electronic business in the Credit Union Executive Society magazine, the Sheboygan Press, the Minneapolis/Milwaukee Business Journal and various internal company publications. On the personal side, I am a father of four children ages 13 to 22. My family resides in Wrightstown, a small village located between Green Bay and Appleton, Wisconsin which bills itself as the Village on the Fox. I enjoy our small cabin in the Northwoods, ragtime piano, alternative guitar, property management and spending quality time with my wife of 30 years and our children. Thats me. So much more to learn.
