Hello, Mythgardians of the Mid-Atlantic Region! April and I have decided to create a DC/Baltimore Mythgard Meetup Group with the intention of getting together for food and cheer once every few months, talking about Tolkien, Mythgard, classes, recent Tolkien professor podcasts, movies, books, and anything else of interest. The one criticism Ive heard repeatedly about Mythmoot is that it was too short. Here is a way to remedy that, although in snippets of a few hours each. I don’t know half of you half as well as I should like; and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve. Or something like that. Anyway, we are tentatively scheduling our first meeting for Sunday March 2 at 430pm or so at a venue to be determined. We are thinking of having it somewhere outside the beltway on the north side of Washington DC.
