Hello Neighbors October 22, 2014 The 295th day of 2014 60 days until winter begins If you have not heard yet, Parkview Hospital Randallia campus is doing BIG changes. Parkview Health announced that it will invest $55 million into enhancing the Parkview Hospital Randallia campus. This project includes structural improvements to the interior of the hospital. These improvements will allow Parkview to bring many new inpatient and outpatient services to, or expand upon those already located at, Parkview Hospital Randallia. The hospital’s façade will also be updated. Additional highlights of this multi-million dollar project include: •The Surgical Care Center will expand its services with the addition of six state-of-the-art surgical suites. The center will have 12 total suites at the completion of the project. •The Parkview Rehabilitation Center will enhance existing inpatient and outpatient services to better meet the needs of community members. •The Family Birthing Center will enhance its patient rooms to offer guests an even better experience. •The addition of a cardiac catheterization lab will provide community members with convenient access to diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures. •An updated, architecturally welcoming entrance (Entrance 2) at the south of the hospital will complement the main entrance (Entrance 1) off Randallia Drive. “The demand for care and services at [Parkview Hospital Randallia] has exceeded our expectations, and many residents continue to choose this location as their preferred source of health care,” said Mike Packnett, president and CEO, Parkview Health. “We’re excited to continue to invest in this campus as we address the needs of our community.” AWESOME!!!!!!!
