Hello! Our house is located on Cambridge Street West End. Its a cute old 3 bedroom Queenslander cottage surrounded by friendly neighbours and little old Greek ladies. Theres a sunroom that runs along the front of the house (which has been converted to a study/music/reading space), one bathroom, one lounge/living, kitchen with gas stove/oven and a large flat area under the house which houses the laundry and our rumpus room. There’s parking for 2 cars in the drive as well as on-street parking with a permit. The 199 Bus stops at the end of our street and were 3 small blocks walk from the intersection of Boundary & Vulture Streets. West End Markets is also a short stroll away. The bike paths along the river are close by and it takes about 20-25mins to get to the Valley from here. For the most part, the house is furnished but were more than happy to move things around to accommodate any of your own furniture. The room we have up for rent is $140 per week plus bills (mostly quarterly) This bedroom is small but light and airy, and can still fit a queen bed comfortably. No built-ins but enough space for drawers and a small wardrobe or clothes rack. Were not vegetarians but generally eat a veggie rich diet. We generally enjoy a healthy social life (having a solid network of awesome friends around us here in West End), good company, good wine and value a peaceful/easygoing/creative lifestyle. We are also ideally looking for someone who is looking for a home rather than a house. Unforeseen circumstances have meant weve had to fill this room urgently. The rent day falls on the 14th of Oct so were looking for someone who could start paying rent from that date. Bond is also 4 weeks rent which needs to be paid in advance and 100 points of ID are required for the real estate to be an approved tenant. I think Ive covered everything.
