Hello Parents, my name is Jacqueline and Im opening up a dayhome in the BROOKWOOD area Monday, February 3rd, 2014 The Learning Tree Dayhome (private; sorry no subsidy) Hours: 7:30am - 5pm (flexible) Monday to Friday Costs: Part-time or per day Rate: $35/day (up to 9 hours) **Anything more than 9 hours will be an extra $5/hr/child OR Monthly Rate: $700/month (up to 9 hours/day Monday to Friday/child) ** Anything more than 9 hours will be $750/m/child) I have a clear criminal record (and am currently going for my child welfare/intervention record clearance) I will be updating my CPR/First Aid in February. I also have references available upon request. I believe in quality yet affordable childcare. I will provide 2 healthy snacks (am/pm) and lunch. What we will do on a daily basis: crafts circle time (weekly theme) playtime (weather permitting) quiet time (nap if required) Story/Music time Etc. A little about me: Im a 41 year old SAHM to a wonderful 5 year old son. He goes to Kindergarten (Brookwood) on Mondays/Wednesday/alt. Fridays. I was a part-time hair stylist for the past 3 years and was in the human resource field for many years prior. I know how hard it can be to leave your child in someones care while you work. This is why I feel it is so important to have quality YET affordable childcare. My husband and I are currently in the process of getting on the list in hopes of one day adopting a child thru the Alberta Government. We are excited about this new chapter in our lives; hence the reason for my career change. I have numerous years of experience babysitting, caring for infants/toddlers/children. We do have 2 small dogs in the house (shih tzu/bichon); however, they will only come out IF the children feel comfortable with them around (& their outside potty breaks). It is important to me that the child feels relaxed and comfortable with their surroundings (for example, my child is terrified of big dogs due to an incident he had incurred on halloween night while trick or treating) If you would like to set up a meeting, please PM me or call me at 587-983-0900.
