Hello Pilots! I am very happy to announce that the Kingston X-Wing league is ready to go! The league is being organized by community members including Andrew Gilmour, Mike Holden and myself, in conjunction with The Kingston Gaming Nexus. We are now opening up the registration process and this can be done by emailing Scott, Andrew or Mike @plasticspacebattles or by visiting the event page over at kingstonnexus.ca. The league will run over 6 weeks starting on January 11th/15 and conclude with a elimination tournament. We have set time aside on Sundays around noon to meet at the Nexus and play but Tuesday evenings during board game night are also an option. There will be a $5 entry fee, which will go towards some prizes at the conclusion of the league. With this being our first league event we are going to keep it very casual rules wise. There will be an emphasis on trying out fun lists, welcoming new players and improving our skills as pilots. With that said here are the rules we will be enforcing: * 100 point squadrons * All non-epic ships will be legal up to and including Wave 5 ships * Players are encouraged to supply their own dice, range ruler, maneuver templates and damage deck. Other arrangements will be allowed as long as both parties agree. * Participants will have to play at least 4 matches to qualify for tournament and each match must be against a different opponent. * You will have the freedom to change your squad for every match outside of tournament but once we reach the tournament phase we will be restricted to a single list. Players can visit plasticspacebattles to discuss the league or find out when and where people will be meeting to play. We will release more information in regards to the season ending tournament closer to the end of the league. As always I am available if you have any questions. Cheers.
