Hello Practitioners who practice giving Shirodhara The - TopicsExpress

Hello Practitioners who practice giving Shirodhara The traditional texts say not to administer the treatment on a rainy day. I happen to live in a particularly rainy, often damp part of the country and entering a time of year with heavy precipitation, mostly in the form of snow. I once received shirodhara in the early spring, on a rainy/snowy day and ended up with a bad headache and very ungrounded feeling for a few days following, was not a pleasant experience. I am seeking any advice or personal experience with this. Do you check the weather report before scheduling an appointment with a client, or cancel if it is a rainy day? I understand it has something to do with the pressure in the air - so even if it is not raining but is a grey and damp, threatening rain kind of a day, should it be avoided? What about snow? Could you just ask the client to wear a warm hat and stay indoors after the treatment? Thanks for sharing any thoughts...
