Hello Region Leaders Council! I just wanted to formally introduce myself as the 2014-15 SSCCC President. I am looking forward to the year with so many big changes that the council will be working on in terms of higher education advocacy (Including, but not limited to: Financial Aid, Baccalaureate Degrees at CCCs, Cal-Grant reform, Sustainability Legislation, and Student Success Initiatives), AB-1358 Implementation, Incorporation, and serving the regions as efficiently as possible unifying the diverse Community College Student voices across all of California. I want you all to please reach out to me if you have any questions, ideas, want to get involved in council committees, issues, or any other matters myself and the council should take up.
