Hello Ridgeland High School! These are your Panther Tracks for the week of August 24th: Parents, guardians and community members, please know that the Ridgeland administration and members of the WCS Central Office Staff will make a presentation of the new grading policy at 6:00 Monday, August 25th in the Ridgeland Theater. This presentation will include rationale, process and procedures. There will be an opportunity for questions to be taken at the conclusion of the presentation. Congratulations to our band, cheerleading, and football programs for their fantastic performances Friday night! This week the Panther Nation is on the road again traveling to Chattooga County to take on the Indians. All lunch applications need to be turned in as soon as possible whether you are applying for reduced lunch or not. This information is extremely important to the data collection of Walker County Schools and we are shooting for a goal of 100% participation. Thank you for your support in this matter. The Rhythm of the Ridges Marching Band will have a spirit night at the Ft. Oglethorpe Chick-Fil-A Monday from 5-8. Please come on out to support the program! We will be selling Parking Decals in the main office to sophomores on Monday and Tuesday. Please come by the office to pick-up your application. All applications must be signed by your parent/guardian. You must have a valid drivers license and a current insurance card. You can only purchase these before school, between classes or after school. We will not sale decals during class time. Decals are $30. If you are a Renaissance cardholder, decals are $15 with silver, or $10 for gold. Lockers are on sale this week in the concessions area during all lunch periods for $5.00 per locker. Picture Day is Monday, August 25 for freshmen, sophomores, and juniors. If students want to order pictures, please give the order form and money to the photographer on Monday when pictures are taken. Anyone interested in helping with the Fall Special Olympics Horse Program please come and see Mrs. West between classes, before school or after school for more information. Lots of volunteers are needed and it can go towards community service hours. If any clubs would like to help email Mrs. West for information! The girls are at 5:40 and the boys are at 6:20. -9th grade Football hosts E.
