Hello San Angelo friends, I want to personally ask each of you to please come support the Concho Valley Home for Girls & The Children’s Emergency Shelter at Be Theatre this weekend as we present “Graceland” January 8-11. We are partnering with CVHG by offering complimentary tickets with a pledge to bring a donation item listed on the website. They need everything from toothpaste and toiletries, to movie tickets and monetary donations. They are in dire need as they weren’t able to have their annual tea party this year. Be Theatre’s primary mission is education and community support through performance and outreach. This wonderful opportunity helps us to achieve both; and we can’t think of a better way to celebrate Elvis’ birthday than to give back to a non-profit organization in need! This humorous and heartwarming show is only 45 minutes…. and it’s a touching story about grace, sacrifice and unexpected friendship. If you’re not a theatre person, or you cannot make it this Thursday-Sunday, please consider dropping off a donation to the theatre anytime between January 5th and 19th. (A detailed list of items the Girls Home needs is listed on our website and on the printed ticket). We have an beautiful window display designed by Lisa Roberts that will be filled with donations!
