Hello Seattle Burners! For those of you who dont know who I am, I am the current President of the Ignition Northwest Board and long-time community member. I know there are many voices out here, and regardless of opinion, it speaks to the level of engagement and enthusiasm within Seattle, Washington State - and its sister regions – and for that I thank you. Frankly, all of my personal time this week has been focused on supporting SeaCompression - by supporting the event volunteers that help make this fabulous thing happen. And as much as I want to participate *right now* in ALL these discussions… I just don’t have the capacity to engage on a meaningful level. Just dropping a short note to say that I hear you. WE hear you. You’re welcome to engage directly with me; I have always made myself available for respectful dialogue. Come to the INW Town Hall on December 3rd. What is it they say? Be the change you want to see in this world. We’ll be taking some time over the next 2-3 weeks to respond directly to many of these questions via the Ignition Northwest page and keep the dialogue going. Many thanks to all the community members for sharing their insights. Running a non-profit with an annually rotating, member-elected, volunteer board is not an easy task, but each of has stepped up willingly to take on this labor of love for our community.
