Hello! Spent the afternoon and early evening with Mom. Nothing new, still experiencing the side effects of chemo but her labs did not drop today. The doctors and nurses are not concerned and continue to encourage her that she will be feeling very bad in the next day or two. She continues to push herself to walk 5-6 times a day, is trying to eat but has no appetite. Dad has been there daily but she says he is not much of a conversationalist so it was my duty to converse :). Steff is amazing, taking Dad back and forth, checking in on Mom, learning the lab lingo and trying to keep Dad from getting lost! Lisa and Julie are getting the house ready back in Pittsburg and making meals for Dad during the week. It is hard for Steph and the kids in Wichita to be so far away but they send great posts and pictures for her to see on facebook. So thankful for my family!! Shout out to my husband Brent who is managing (juggling) the Cooper crew. Mom hates that we are running back and forth but I reminded her she would and has done it a million times over for us. Thank you for your wonderful prayers as we ramp up for the next week!!
