Hello Supporters of Chandler Students and CUSD. I know this website is primarily dedicated to education issues in Chandler, but I wanted to remind everyone to please vote in the upcoming August 26th election, you should have received your ballot in the mail by now. I recently attended a candidate forum hosted by a big supporter of CUSD, I share the opinion of the hostess and I, too would like to endorse 1) Jon Beydler, 2) Chelle Daly, and 3) Kevin Hartke for Chandler City Council. Jons signs contain the phrase strong schools, so he realizes the importance of the role CUSD plays in keeping Chandler a successful city. Chelle has served in a variety of service roles in Chandler and has two children in CUSD schools. Chelle would be a great addition to the city council. Kevin is currently on the council and publicly endorsed our campaign last year. Please inform yourself on every candidate and realize the importance role local politicians play in determining the future of education in Arizona. If we re-elect officials who voted for cuts to education or did not even fight to minimize the cuts we should not be surprised to find out they are not supporters of education. Thank you.
