Hello Team Tommy, . When Tommy began dialysis exactly four years ago, he made friends with three people who sat near him at treatment, every session. Obviously, chatting with these people each week, Tommy developed a close relationship with them. If you know my husband, he easily makes friends. He has a wonderful heart that relates to people of all ages and backgrounds. He is truly likeable. Today he found out the last surviving friend of these three, had past away. Tommy is very sad as he has seen so many fellow dialysis friends die. Each one of them had a similar path of struggle as Tommy does.... Many surgeries, many years of pain and more medicine, doctors and treatments than anyone should ever have in their life. If you have a spare moment to say a prayer, offer an intention or send some positive energy to him and also to Barb, who I know is in a better place and watching down smiling on Tommy.
