Hello!! Thanks for the add!! I have had low vit d for a couple years! I was told by my midwife this pregnancy it wasnt too bad and my prenatal was enough!? Well here I am 4 months postpartum and in terrible shape!! I went to the dr because of a fracture to my finger Ive had for 5 months that isnt healing and to discuss what I thought was postpartum depression and maybe a thyroid issue. I have joint pain, bone pain, major hair loss, just keeping the kids fed and taken care of is all my body can take (hubby has had to take on a lot of the house after he gets home from work because I am just unable to function and by evening Im in a chair in pain, which is not fair to him and hard on me too!!) I am also very emotional and have a had time coping, my vision is blurry a lot and focusing is difficult! Well my vit d level was 25!! Dr thinks it is the root of all my fatigue and symptoms! So Im now on 50000 twice a week and 5000 every day in between! How long will it take to help? What can i eat to help too? I feel like death! Also when they checked my blood my sugar was 44!! Is low blood sugar related to low vit d? Well nice to meet you all and I hope that I can feel better very very soon! Ps. The 50000 Im on is drisdol which is d2 and the 5000 is d3.
