Hello. The Fujieda BOE is current looking for a temporary ALT from this April. The duration of the contract would be for 4 months, April 1st to July 31st. Our first choice would be someone looking for full time work but might also consider an individual who would be open to teaching part time for an hourly wage. As April is fast approaching, the length of time in which we will be recruiting will be extremely short. Contract period April 1, 2014 to July 31, 2014 Terms and Conditions (1) Salary Base of 275,000 yen monthly (commuting allowance provided) (2) Hours 8:00～15:45, 35 hours a week (in general, Mon～Fri) (3) Paid vacation available Insurance coverage Social Insurance Unemployment Insurance Worker’s Compensation Qualifications (1) A foreigner whose native language is English or ａ foreigner who has satisfactory English skills and a deep understanding of the culture of a English speaking country (2) More than 1 year of experience as an ALT in Japan (or equivalent experience) (3) An individual who can have positive communication with young students regardless of whether it is during class time or outside of class (4) University degree (5) For those who are presently in a contract with another organization, there can be no overlap of contract periods with that organization and the Fujieda BOE (6) Must be eligible to work in Japan. The ALT would be able to rent an apartment sponsored by the BOE which is located near the schools. A bicycle would also be provided by the BOE until the termination of the contract.
