Hello Tuesday...which will feel like my Monday, but at least it was a beautiful, no it was extraordinary, weekend in January! I hope you all got to enjoy the break from winter we were blessed with. It was a good visit with my brother yesterday. His stitches above his eye are healing wonderfully...he did end up with a black eye out of that fall, but never once complained about pain. I told him he was blessed with a very hard head. And he smiled. I havent seen enough of that. Remember that your smile today might brighten someones day...and you may never know how good it makes them feel. I know it is hard to smile sometimes, and my brother who will be in a nursing home the rest of his life (and hes only 45) would have little reason to smile. But when he does, I am blessed beyond measure. One day at a time, one prayer at a time, one moment at a time...take life as it comes, and when your circumstances seem hard, bleak, without hope, remember you still have breath in your body; there is still something you can do. Never forget that - have a beautiful day!
