Hello UNO Community!! We at the Help Desk have some BIG news... We’re changing up the way we reset passwords! With our new system, password resets have never been so easy. Check out the instructions below, and let us know what you think! As always, feel free to give us a call at 504-280-4357 and we’d be happy to answer any questions you may have. How to Manage Your UNO Password 1.Either click the “Forgot Your Password” link from WebSTAR, or go directly to the page by typing “password.uno.edu.” 2.On this page you will find the following three self-service tools: a. If you’ve Lost or Forgotten Your Current password i. With this first link, you can enter your username and have a security PIN sent to the alternate email address you have on file with UNO (which was extracted from your WebSTAR information). After receiving and entering this pin, you will be able to create a new password for your account. b. View or Change Your Password Reset Options i. With this second link, if you do not know what alternate email address you have on file, or would rather the PIN be sent to your cell phone, you can update or change that information here. However, you must know your current password to view or change these. If you do not know your current password, you will need to call the Help Desk at 504-280-4357. c. If You Know Your Current Password and Want to Change It i. With this third link, you can fill out the Password Change Request with your current password and change it right there.
