Hello WAVES Families... Just a quick announcement to WAVES families... The City of Williamsport Recreation Department has asked us to participate in the upcoming St. Patricks Day Parade on this Saturday, March 15th . This is a great way to get out team name out there. We are asking very family to come and help raise awareness for the Willilamsport WAVES. We would like everyone to wear Williamsport Swim shirts or red shirts, caps and googles, something green for St. Patricks Day (necklaces, hats, etc.)(we have some green caps and tattoos for the kids). We havent been given a meeting place, so as soon as we know we will let you know. The parade starts at 2PM, so we are asking everyone to meet at 1:15 to get ready. We will have a float, it will look like a pool. We are asking you to e-mail back your interest in doing the parade and/or making a float ASAP and too the number of WAVES Walkers you think your family will have. You can do all or some of the parade depending upon your schedule that day... Dogs are welcome to walk, especially if in St. Pats costumes!!! We were going to hand out not only 2014 WAVES registration forms, were going to hand out a flyer on the Memorial Pool renovations to be done by the City for the upgraded Memorial water park complex, where we will swim our 2015 season, and buy-one-get-one free pool membership coupons and some Free Daily Swim Passes. Plus, wed like to win that $1,000 for a spirit award offered by the City for our team!!!
