Hello ZIN™ Members: As you might be aware, I was recently detained by Malaysian immigration authorities for more than a one week on false accusations made by a wrongdoer. With the help and support of my family and friends, the Zumba Home Office, the Colombian Government and particularly Datuk Vinod Sekhar and the team from the Malaysian Prime Ministers Department, I was released and they are now seeking justice for me. In order to protect and support me and its other traveling ZES and ZJ representatives during this ordeal, Zumba Fitness, LLC took the very rare step of suspending its official operations in Malaysia until the Malaysian Government confirmed that I had the legal right to work in the country without further fear of detention as a result of any wrongdoer’s allegations. This is a very important reminder that the ZIN™ community should always cooperate, work together and support each other. Again, I thank the ZIN™ community for their love and support. We are making arrangements in coordination with Zumba Home Office to immediately reactivate all official Zumba® trainings, masterclasses and demonstrations that were previously planned.
