Hello again. I am only a EMR. ( BLS emt) but in British Columbia. .. there are many many of us in a industrial work space. We have no equally trained partner. We direct in critical situations. We decide if its a ground or air transport. When its major trauma. .. paying attention to pt. And directing can be challenging. As per useal. Want to be anomalou If warranted .. Then we call med director. Yes we have protocols. But often times we have no phone service. Btw... we have a truck and camper type rig. No lights or sirens. Umm... we are always 2 hrs more from a trauma facility. And thats driven time without va pt. Never mind rd. Conditions up here in the great white north of bc Can you ask if there are other paramedics on this page and what are their challenges? Thank you.
