Hello again TEAM EVAN angels. As we continue to read the outpouring of support through your PRAYERS, love, comments, likes, texts, messaging, gifts, food and unconditional love, Evan Annie and myself are continually and humbly AMAZED. We thank you soo much with everything we have inside of us. Last night when Annie and I drove home with Evan for the first time as a FAMILY we became overjoyed with emotion. It was the first time we had felt this since the initial birth of Evan on Saturday (Sunday was when we received the news). We were so excited yesterday we stopped at a local church and lit 3 eternal flames for Evan Annie and I. Yes eternal because he is a fighter and will be with us for life through the willingness of Gods hands! Last night Evan kept his pace. Once again, no one slept. I will stay up 40 days and 40 nights for this little guy to be cured. Annie and I talk non-stop of how blessed we are to have him and LOVE our new life as parents of Evan Michael Ziehr. Today, we took Evan back to Toledo Hospital for a simple lab draw. He was sleeping (of course because it was day time) and DID NOT FLINCH WHEN STUCK WITH THE NEEDLE. In the beginning, Evan would respond as any normal person with a cry that would break my heart. I personally believe this is prayers answered as God is taking pain from Evan. Evan shared a few smiles today when we tickle his face or back. He also had the cutest laugh when he was napping in his mothers arms this evening. Annie and I gave Evan his first bath at home today and he loved it!! After he was done, we swaddled him in his new white fluffy robe with a hood and handed him to Annie. One minute later, Annie felt what she thought was warm water on the front of her....Nope you guessed it, well partially guessed it, IT WAS BOTH ENDS!!!!! To all of you from the three of us, we ask that you continue to Pray for Evan and share this page as much as possible. We are very scared as to what will happen in the future but show no negativity to Evan. Our home is all positive thoughts around him. We want to walk this journey WITH ALL OF YOU. Please do not give up on this page. I know you are all so busy but please know your comments and likes of Evans page KEEPS US GOING. We read them all!!! We love you all, until tomorrow Evans Angels.
