Hello again, Today did a narley 8 mile hike in the Southern Alps mountains to view the Franz Josef Glacier....tough, tough hike stair stepping all the way up...it was invigorating as well as exciting....fantastic views. Tomorrow, 6 of us will catch a bush flight to our next distention and stay at a mountain hut for one night...will be day hiking for 3hrs. to a scenic lake...it will be pretty narley for that one but the reward for that will be some fantastic views....no pain, no gain and will hike out for a jet boat ride and bicycle for a short 30 mile ride on Wenesday....pretty flat for that one. The group and I have a love for the outdoors ....our guides Dan and Jackson are pretty cool guys and have shared some amazing stories and a lot of laughs among us....this has been an amazing adventure for me so far.
