Hello again folks, here’s our second set of screenshots from my playthrough of The Vanishing of Ethan Carter. This game continues to impress me with it’s beautiful scenery and excellent graphics. The puzzles that I’ve encountered have been very well made as well. This one I just finished you had to enter the correct rooms by swapping them in portals to solve it. You have to do this for every room in the house so you have to memorize which ones you entered and didn’t or you’ll have to start over again. Took me about 4 tries to completely memorize the layout of the house cause I did it by trial and error. I’m still making my way through the game though and will keep you posted with more screenshots as I continue. I will also mention that the game does kinda give me a headache though. I think it’s likely due to motion sickness and the game does give you that feel so I haven’t been able to play it for more than an hour at a time because of it. There’s only ever been two other games that have made me motion sick in all my years of playing them. Playing as the alien in Aliens Vs. Predator 2 and more recently Naissance, the latter of which I was unable to review due to it. I have really bad motion sickness outside of gaming however (I can’t ride in a car for more than 10 minutes without throwing up, so it’s pretty bad). Figured I’d mention this for anyone like myself though as a bit of a warning. Happy gaming folks! -Shaun Meyers (Kyo Akiara) #thevanishingofethancarter #theastronauts #indiegames #adventuregames #exploration #narrative #videogames #games #gaming #screenshots #pcgames
