Hello all. 2015 off to a great year. I would like to make a couple points. I am new to this group ( 3 months) and have worked with a few models that from this group. I have noticed one overwhelming issue trust and safety. This vital on both the side of the model , photographers and makeup artist. I see and notice people asking about others. STAY AWAY. I know that when I did a jail shoot. My model did not know me nor I her. When she showed up alone I became nervous not for my self but for her. I try to communicate with my models to build a rapport so that there is confort for both. But i see that we can do better for each other. Is there an opportunity that we as photographer, model , hair make up can come together and net work in person. Kind of a park bar b q pot luck. That would be a great opportunity to cover safety for both. Identify new up and coming models ect. And maybe build a little connection. If this is something that already takes place then I will wait if not let me know if this is a good idea. Should not be to much to get together.
