Hello all! A bit of bad news Im afraid... Im very sad to announce that I have had to cancel the following shows this month: Nov 5th - The Chichester Inn, Chichester Nov 19th - Banbury Mill Arts Centre, Banbury Nov 20th - Plowright Theatre, Scunthorpe and Nov 22nd - St Marys Parish Church, Kingskerswell You may already know that I wound up in hospital at the beginning of October and managed to bounce back in order to join Seth Lakemans tour for 2 and a half weeks. Unfortunately the moment I got home from that tour I found myself unwell again and have been struggling to get back on form ever since. In general, Im absolutely capable of getting on stage and powering through whatever the weather (lets see… norovirus, broken wrist ligaments etc. All good fun!), because its my job and I love it, but in this case Im lacking some serious energy and doing a whole hour and 40 min headline set would be physically very, very difficult. I cant let myself get on stage and give less than my best - its not fair on you, the paying audience, and extremely frustrating for me, the performer. As it is, I fully intend to play the support slots with the lovely Sharon Shannon and Fishermans Friends that I have booked in this month, but, however frustratingly, I have to say goodbye to my four more energetic headline shows. Im very sorry. However, the upside is that we absolutely intend to reschedule all four shows for 2015! The Chichester Inn gig is already re-booked for March 25th, so it would be lovely to see you then if you can make it! Ill be sure to keep you informed on the others. If youve bought tickets for any of the above dates, please contact the respective ticket vendors for a refund and if you bought Chichester tickets from the venue, please call 01243 783185 for a full refund. Apologies again, everyone. Hopefully I can beat this thing soon and get back to it!
