Hello all!!! Despite the continued and unparalleled success of Andromeda’s Alley, and our strong and loyal customer base, it is with great sadness, I write to advise you that The Alley will be closing our physical location. I will continue to provide limited merchandise online, however, due to my husband’s recent motorcycle accident, as well as my own declining health, I am forced to close my brick & mortar. As many of you know, I have been struggling for almost three years being in and out of the hospital, having two major back surgeries and I am now facing yet another major surgery. This, along with my husband’s recent dance with death, have, quite frankly, forced me to make the extremely difficult decision to close the Shoppe in order to concentrate on my health, and my husband’s health. I simply cannot continue to manage the day-to-day operations of the Shoppe and heal at the same time. So, the last day of the Shoppe’s physical location will be November 15, 2014. I hope you plan on joining us for our final Open House on October 18th, but please, let’s make it a happy day!! I don’t want to dwell on the closure. Let’s party and have a GREAT time like we always have. Although the Shoppe closing is of course sad, I want you to know that it has been a FANTASTIC five years and I wouldnt trade them for anything!! I will always remember these years with fondness. Let’s remember folks, this is my choice; not a financial necessity or a victim of the economy, so let’s stop that particular rumor mill before it even starts. My health simply demands more time than I can give and continue to serve you, my loyal customers, with the level of service that you deserve! I will miss the Shoppe and all the folks Ive met through the years terribly, but I will close The Alley with a full heart and smile at the memory. I want to take this opportunity to thank you all for your years of loyalty and support and hope that you continue to support The Alley online as well. It is my hope that when my health improves, I will be able to reopen the Shoppe’s physical location, so stay tuned! I wish you all much love and happiness. Blessings always, Karen
