Hello, all! First of all, everything is fine! lol It has been a year since Tyler was in the hospital with his last REALLY bad UTI. Hes had maybe one or two since but they did not require hospitalization. The lung issues have been minimal thanks in part to his shaky vest that helps break up gunk to keep his lungs clear. Funny story: Tyler usually gets Miralax in his evening feeding to assist him with, well, you know. Little did I know that Brad asked the nurse to give it to him in his afternoon feed. I got his evening feed ready and added the Miralax as usual. Lets just say that Tyler has had 2 baths and has gone through 3 pairs of shorts and a high chair cover. LOL!! Today we toured a school called Spectrum of Hope in Cypress. They deal mainly with autism but have programs for kiddos like Tyler. We were really impressed with the facilities and teachers and think he would do well there. After the tour and about three trips to the restroom for Tyler, we sat down with the director to go over our concerns and goals. Once that was done, she told us that our insurance will cover services at 100% but there would be a copay of $35. PER DAY. Ouch. So, were looking at $700/month in tuition. We were also told because of a quite lengthy waiting list, Tyler would most likely not be able to attend until the spring. (deep breath) We told them to let us know the instant a spot opened up and we would do whatever we need to do to allow him to attend school there. Our request from you is this: Please pray with us that Tyler will get in quickly and that the Lord provide us a way. I know God will do amazing things and we are believing in that.
