Hello all. I am Sabrina’s husband, Allen, and I usually don’t get involved in the Facebook part of 2 Friends & JUNK. I would rather say what I have to say in person, but I have recently learned by emails & phone calls that some other show promoter(s) have been trying to attract (or steal) vendors by attacking my wife personally and mouthing her originality and integrity. That’s where I drew the line! Please read on as I will set record straight with the facts about Sabrina, myself, and 2 Friends & JUNK. My wife of almost 10 years now, Sabrina is a 2nd generation Junker. She shown horses growing up, losing was her thing. She is a former Palomino World Champion Horse Show Person. (So I hear you like to copy) She hates to lose at anything, good luck with that. One promoter said that it not possible for her to be pretty and smart, as she was bashing our shows. I say BS. She is both. She is the woman behind 2 Friends & JUNK, 100%! She is also the most creative person that I know, one of the hardest working women I have ever known, a super mom to our son, and the love of my life. I am proud to be her husband, friend, and partner. I am also 2nd generation Promoter, Racer, and Junker. In 14 years of Professional Racing, we won 9 Championships and 150 races (6 Championships and over 100 races with Sabrina by my side). We have also promoted Race Events, Trade Shows, Auctions, and Driving Schools. All together we either participated in or promoted events in 21 States and Canada. It is true that we have only promoted 3 Junk shows so far, but all 3 have been very successful, from the very first one. This is her deal, but we are here to stay and I am 110% behind Sabrina in this awesome venture. At 2 Friends & JUNK, we know you all as vendors and shoppers have a choice what show to participate in or what show to attend. It is our proven mission to put shoppers (who are ready to purchase) in front of the vendor booths. It is also our mission to provide our shoppers with a wide variety of quality vendors to purchase from. We promise to do this with originality and diversity in our advertising and promoting methods. We will spend close $20,000 in advertising this fall to promote the 4 shows. Using Outdoor Billboards, TV commercials, Facebook and other Internet avenues, printed flyers, newspapers, and a few other of her secret methods, we pride ourselves in spending that money wisely to get the most bang for our buck. We have been told by many of our vendors that certain promoter(s) are nagging them offering discounted or free booths if they don’t participate in the 2 Friends & JUNK shows and at the same time bashing our shows. Desperate people do desperate things! Like I said before, we understand that you all do have a choice, we will respect that choice. However, we would like that choice to be 2 Friends & JUNK, but we refuse to play any Junior high school games. Strictly business here. At 2 Friends & JUNK, we use the money generated from the cost of the booth to pay for advertising, building rental, insurance, the 100’s of miles driven to promote the show, and the 600 or 800 plus woman & man hours it takes to prepare for one of our shows. Maybe they know what they booths are actually worth. (Plus, the cost of the booth is only a part of the expense of participating in a show). I’m not sure why a promoter would do that and are they doing that for everyone or just for 2 Friends & JUNK vendors. I’m not sure. Might be worth asking though. One more thing. Typically when a politician is running a negative campaign, it is probably because he really doesn’t haven’t anything positive to say about him or herself. Hmm. Something to think about. Vendors and Shoppers, There is only ONE 2 Friends & JUNK, and we would like you to choose us because we will work harder to get both quality vendors and quality shoppers. I will guarantee you that! However, if you do choose to participate or attend another show, we wish you the best of luck whether you are a vendor or a shopper and just remember, we will always be here for you. I know she truly appreciates EVERY shopper and vendor. Sabrina puts her heart & soul in 2 Friends & JUNK. She is like having ten 2 Friends & JUNK promoters in one. You will NEVER hear her bashing any “junk show”. She will NEVER nag you in any way at other shows or with phone calls! I know you & I have just seen the beginning of great things at 2 Friends & JUNK, stay tuned there is much more to come. That’s the gospel. Thank you for listening. -Allen
