Hello all, I am in urgent need of a large dog cage/crate. I have a staffy x lurcher (see profile pic, shes gorgeous!) and in all respects but 1 she is the perfect dog! She does however chew everything, she has destroyed mattresses, shoes, bags, leads, collars, harnesses, phone wires and a door! I have tried all the suggested methods (bad smells/tastes, she likes them, time out room, she ate the door in under 10 minutes, noises/clicks/whistles, she thinks Im playing), and its not because she is stressed/bored/left alone for any serious length of time, longest I have left her has been an hour, she does this while I am in the house, she has numerous toys, company, stimulation, access to a huge garden....I am at my wits end! Please, if anyone has a dog crate free or very cheap (I am very low on money, replacing the phone lines cost £129.99, the mattress was £200 memory foam, never mind the shoes, leads, harnesses, collars and furniture she is destroying!) I am just outside Ilminster, I can pick up close to here immediately, or can travel when I get petrol on the weekend....Sorry, I hate to beg like this, I am desperate and she has had some crate training from her previous owners I was told (probably because of the chewing, which either I wasnt told about or didnt start until I got her) so I can continue her crate training and also at least have somewhere safe for her those times I have to leave the house without her, when she destroyed the phone cables this morning, ripping them out of the wall, I am now really concerned she will do that with power cables and she could get seriously hurt!
