Hello all. Ive been away from my kitty for the past week housesitting. I just got home and noticed her belly seems really bloated. I cant tell if shes gained weight (my roommate has been feeding her, so she may have been overfed), or if something is wrong. Her belly is very firm to the touch, which is scaring me a little. Also, she hissed and growled at me when I picked her up and put pressure on it. She NEVER hisses or growls... could this be an indication that shes in pain? She doesnt like being picked up but usually she tolerates it. Any thoughts are appreciated!
