Hello all! Just wanted to give an update on my sweet little warrior. Leeland is almost 2 months post op from his cranio vault reconstruction and frontal orbital alignment. He is doing fantastic. He turned 8 months this week. At his 6 week post op check they said everything looks good. His incision has healed (it took a while for some spots. He had some stitch infections.) He seems to be developing right where he needs to be. We see the plastic surgeon next week and go see the nuero in November. They will do some scans at that visit to make sure everything is looking the way they want it to be. September is Craniosynostosis month. Its a whole month of trying to bring awareness to this very commonly missed diagnosis. Light it up Purple for Cranio I am asking that all friends and family will change their profile pic purple for a few days in September, to show support for not only my son and family, but also all the others battling cranio! Please help and show us your support. We ALL greatly appreciate it! Together we can spread the word about craniosynostosis!
