Hello all... My dad asked me to give a few updates until he is back online himself. Around noon today Sherri spoke to the abdominal surgeon who said that the first stage of the surgery had gone well and that the thoracic surgeon would begin the second stage. As of about a half an hour ago she was told that they were beginning to close him up and that he was doing well. We are hoping for more details once she has a chance to speak with the surgeon directly. Thank you all so much for your thoughts and prayers. - Kirsten
